i.MX6 BSP kernel fixes available for Yocto

Freescale has released an update to the 3.10.17-1.0 GA BSP. The release includes bugfixes and an important bugfix for the Vivante GPU support to fix a race condition and has been tagged as 3.10.17-1.0.1 accordingly to the official announcement done in the Freescale i.MX Community.

These fixes has already been integrate on the OpenEmbedded/Yocto Project BSP layer for Freescale’s ARM platforms, into the FSL Community BSP platform and several non-public customer design BSP layers supported by O.S. Systems for different customers.

The fixes has been integrated on the Yocto Project 1.6 based releases (Daisy branch) and onto the development version which targets the upcoming Yocto Project 1.7 which is planned to be release in October of 2014.
