O.S. ThinDesktop is a lean operating system designed for thin clients and that needs few hardware resources. It is fully compatible with the main remote connection protocols, such as Microsoft RDP, Citrix ICA, SSH, VNC, Telnet, XDMCP and Tarantella. It provides a comfortable and simplified navigation experience, besides having a light and flexible control panel, where the administrators have total control over the system.
The system has automated installation of printers. It has a robust web browser and a file manager. It supports local storage (in hard drives or flash memory devices), removable devices (USB), audio and also wireless network connections, dial-up and GPRS, CDMA and 3G modem connections.

New features on version 10.0.13
O.S. ThinDesktop's new version (10.0.13) is now available for download in the Client Panel with the following changes:
- CUPS updated from version 1.3.11 to 1.4.2;
- added printing support using LPD;
- added enable/disable option for CUPS administration via HTTP, through System Manager;
- added drivers for new HP printers (Extreme Edition only);
- RDP protocol now redirects local network printers;
- SSH, Telnet and OSPTTY protocols now offer character encoding options.
